In 2016, Ingram EMS launched a live-in program to attract already-trained EMS providers to our community. The program was a great success in that we covered more calls and had better overall schedule coverage. We are now recruiting EMTs and PARAMEDICS for the second generation live-in program.
The live-in program allows our agency to provide comfortable living arrangements in an apartment adjacent to the station. The program is rent-and-utility free for up to 5 EMS providers. Those EMS providers are in-turn required to cover a pre-determined amount of hours per week as well as perform station duties like truck checks and decontamination.

Ingram EMS is run solely by volunteers who give their time and skills to helping their community. Since 1973, we have been run by exclusively by dedicated volunteers and funded solely by patient transport billing and generous community members. Not an EMT yet? No problem! Ingram EMS will sponsor people in our community who pass all requirements for membership. You will be able to be on a crew with EMTs and Paramedics while you are learning so that you are better prepared when you graduate!
